Going into all the world with the Gospel

Be obedient in taking the Word of God to the nations is the basic instruction given to every believer who is serious about impacting the world.

Most believers do not have the opportunity or the wherewithal to fulfill this most important instruction. Yet God so often provides the way for us to go and to be obedient and to reach the world.

This year I have had the wonderful privilege to minister in the United States to Brazilians and Russians. I also had meetings in the United Kingdom with Nigerians and early this year had the opportunity to preach to Filipinos in Australia.

In every instance I was amazed at the hunger shown by these believers who have had to make great sacrifices in order to move to foreign lands to start new lives and integrate into new cultures.
What shone most was that in spite of the pain of having to give up their homelands and leave families behind, there was this wonderful hunger for an increase in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

As a believer I am often overwhelmed by the joy and sense of spiritual community that these wonderful people display in their worship and in their lives.

May Update

It never ceases to amaze me how God is always true to his word and the way in which He rewards the righteous. As long as we are obedient and are prepared to do the will of the Father, He is faithful to bless.

The month of March saw June and I fulfilling part of the commandment to take the Word of the Lord to the nations, this time our travels took us to Australia. We were humbled by the way in which Gods people received our ministry.

We have always enjoyed the fellowship that comes with building relationships in the ministry and this trip proved to be very special as the people of God welcomed us into their hearts. We have found that when this occurs there is always an increase in the anointing in our meetings as the people become more receptive to the move of the Spirit.

Our travel found us ministering on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts of Queensland and New South Wales.

Monthly Message: The Return On Your Ministry Investment.

As itinerant evangelists, who live entirely by faith, we use the heavenly banking system to finance our travels and ministry I am often amazed at the amount of Gods money that is used to build massive churches. The sole aim of the church should be souls and outreach and to fulfill the great commission to take the Word of God to every nation.

Lately it seems that the vision of the church has blurred with emphases on building bigger and better and seeing how many people can be attracted to their new church.

In the heavenly economy, the “return on investment” must be represented by souls and not increased numbers.

When we invest heavily in these large cathedrals, it then becomes incumbent on the church to raise the funding to finance these endeavors. Obviously it becomes important to ensure that the attendance numbers are increased. In order to do so there is often a tendency to compromise the ministry by putting programs in place that will keep the crowds entertained and to keep them returning?

Our sole aim should be to see an increase in the move of the Holy Spirit amongst our people and we should never comprise by offering seeker sensitive programs.

The church is in recession and only a mighty outpouring of hunger and desire amongst the people is going to cause revival to break out. We have to make room for the Holy Spirit in all our meetings and give Him freedom to operate amongst the people.

When I was a young boy my father was given a generator to power the lighting and sound system while he ministered in his homeland, South Africa.

I was fortunate to see some of the greatest miracles take place on open fields where thousands upon thousands of people were saved, healed and set free. That generator cost all of $50. I can only imagine the joy that that man experienced as he stood before the throne and God pointed out the souls who were saved because of his faithfulness.

There are faithful men and woman traveling all over the world, going to far off lands to bring the Gospel to the lost who don’t have the luxury of executive travel and fine accommodation, but such is their faithfulness that the go, because they see it as a wonderful privilege to be obedient to the great commission.

April/ May Itinerary:

We will be traveling in the United States from during the whole month of May ministering in Kentucky, Indiana, Virginia, Tennessee, and the New England states.

Please pray that God will continue to pour out his Spirit upon us and that we will have an increase in the anointing as we minister.

Unleashing God's Power in you

Like most believers I have a dream. Not just any dream but a desire to see to see the glory of God revealed and revival break out in my meetings. This is no pipe dream. I believe that if we could just harness the power that is available to every believer.

In almost every church that I go to here and in the United States there is a heart cry for Revival. There is a great deal of hunger and the vision of the people is to see Revival come to their church.

Few believers within the body of Christ are aware of what it will take to unleash the full force of the Holy Spirit that will cause a shaking that is needed to bring about Revival.

I am not talking here about a stirring that lasts for a couple of days, or when a church increases their numbers that all of sudden they feel that Revival has broken out.

We need to look at the true effects of what takes place. In the Welsh and Scottish revivals of the late 19th century the towns and cities were turned upside down. Hard drinking men would be sitting on bar stools when suddenly the Holy Spirit would enter the place and under conviction these drunkards would pour out on to the streets and find salvation on their knees on the pavement. They didn’t need any great evangelistic campaign to convict them. All that was needed was for like minded men and woman filled with the Holy Ghost and power to unleash themselves as prayer warriors to bring down the Holy Spirit on their cities.

Nothing has changed! The same Holy Spirit is waiting for you to get serious about the need for Revival.

Let’s face it, its hard to find a church where the desire of the people for revival is so strong that they are prepared to lay aside the church program and chase after a move of God. Unless we start now we will not be able to appreciate the fullness of Gods glory and the move might just pass us by.

Message:

1. Most believers never realize their true Spiritual potential.

It because we are still in bound by our past. We have to throw off our past before we can embrace the glorious future that God has for us.

Almost all fall short of the incredible power that God has laid up for us because we don’t have the confidence to move out in faith. We have this potential to move into the supernatural realm of signs and wonders and yet we struggle to move off the bottom rung of our spiritual ladder.


2. There has to be sacrifice

There is no success in life without sacrifice. Where would we be today without the sacrificial lamb?

Almost every great man of God has had to make some form of sacrifice during their lifetime. There is always a cost and very often it comes at a price. We ought to see the man of God in that context and understand that there is so much more to His life than what you we see in front of us in the pulpit.

Lonely hotel rooms and families far away are often the cost of ministry.

Luke 9: 23

“If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me”

Denying oneself is to give up self rule and put God back in His rightful place, the throne.

How many of us are satisfied with their spiritual life right now.” Blessed are those who hunger after righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

When you live a holy and righteous life, satisfaction is guaranteed.

3. Liberation:

The bible is the proclamation of emancipation for every sinner who was sold into the slavery of sin. Every one of us endured a life of slavery before that glorious day that we found salvation and were set free. If it wasn’t for toe cross we would still be in chains and imprisoned by our sin. Yet today we come as blood washed children of the Most High God ready to receive ongoing forgiveness based on grace.

But we have to get to a place of hungering after God. Nothing else will do.

Our desire must be from total liberty from sin and the cry of our heart for Holiness.


Itinerary:

During the month of March, June and I will be traveling and ministering in Australia where God has graciously opened up door for us. We are excited and full of anticipation as we know the Holy Sprit goes before us to prepare the way.
